| | hopeful | ] | i feel like i never really update my journal, in fact i know i don't. Ah well too lazy i suppose.
I can't fathom why this part of me still likes him better then anyone else. I mean I know that he may never call me and may never like me in any other way but as a friend and that is fine and it always will be but I still wish. He doesn't know that last year at the week of my birthday it was him that unknowingly helped me make a decision about a certain someone that I would prefer not to ever think of ever again. Because even though I could be with this other person it was the thought of being with someone like him. Does that make sense? Maybe I am just rambling and spreading my thoughts around.
He seems to be doing somewhat better but like always with him sometimes it is hard to tell. He was surprised to see me yesterday at the bank and he always goes out of his way to say hello to me. And always our ritual is that no matter how many times I have given him my number he always asks for it again.
So yes Amanda even though I will probably never admit this out loud, at least to you, I secretly hope he will call even though this part of me knows he won't. Ahh that is life.
Today has been such a lazy day and tomorrow is sunday and does not promise to be much better. We did go to the Pratville Pasta Mill and it was delicious, I enjoyed it. Any way that is all for my day today. Toodles Poodles |

| | coughing up a storm | ] | Well numero uno I hate mondays because bad things happen on mondays. Like a crack suddenly appears in my windshield and i have to go to work. Which I have the sneaking suspision that the crack would not have been there in my windshield if I had not gone to work. Why? you ask, well it just so happens they were weedeating at executive park today and that crack was NOT in my windshield when I arrived to work. Hmmmmmm.
Number two. Amanda was sick this monday. Which I really hate cause she was really sick. She had a really really bad migrane that earned her not one but two shots of Morphine. Lovely stuff that. Make you forget everything except going nightie night.
Well that is basically it. But it is more then enough to say I HATE MONDAYS. |

| | FIt for a King*** Garth Brooks | ] | The day started out simply with the sounds of mama in the kitchen and the smell of tobacco eminating from the livingroom. I spent this morning preparing my favorite dip and the kids favorite dessert while anxiously awaiting my their arrival. I love the anxiety that fills the air when children know they are on the recieveing line of gifts. Its a sweet sound of chatter and quiet. I love that. Christmas is a time of sharing joy, love and hope not only for today but tomorrow. For every tomorrow. Its not about the gifts or the food. It is about the fellowship of family. That is the most basic way to celebrate the birth of our Lord. Today is also the first day of Hannakah ( I know I did not spell that right so please forgive me). So today Jew and Christian celebrate the awesome power of God in our own ways. So today I hope you celebrated whatever religion or even if you have none because regardless as to whether or not you believe in God there are those of us who still believe in Santa Claus and a brighter and better tomorrow. So Merry Christmas, Happy Hannakah and Season Greetings from my house to yours. |

| | LOST on the TELE | ] | Well it is quiet here in Wetumpka. Very quiet. The moon is hanging right outside my window which is awesome. I have never been able to see the moon from inside the house. It is a beautiful evening outside my front porch although slightly more then chilly. There are two more days for the work week and I am rushing for the weekend. I suppose that is because I am ready for my 22nd birthday. I am also anxiously awaiting Harry Potter.
I heard that PETA went to Bellingrath this week to talk to the kids about not eating fish. Okay this bothers me for several reasons and not because I eat fish. The first one is because PETA is nothing more then a terroist group. They will do whatever it takes to get attention irregardless of the dangers involved, these people take it to the extreme. Sure they have the right to believe and say what the want but are the allowed to do whatever they want even if that means striking fear into the public? Absolutely not. The second reason is they claim fish are intelligent animals. Key word ANIMAL. Sure the bass may be intelligent but so is a cow and a shrimp and deer. The list can go on and on. But if the bass is truly intelligent then why is it that it cannot tell the difference between a non hooked worm and bait worm. I'll let you decide. In fact if you think about a RAT is more intelligent then a fish, after all they use RATS and MICE in lab experiments all the time but it's okay to kill them because God Forbid you have one that carries the Eibola Virus. My reasons for why I hate PETA can go on and on. there are endless reasons. This is why I always say if you want to protect and support animal rights contact the ASPCA they truly take charge of Animal rights. They make animal abusers and neglictors pay fines and sometimes serve jail time.
Enough of PETA hearing their name makes me want to scream.
I am so tired from unpacking and looking for things that I can't find. I am going to need a day to recover from all this. Well I haven't any thing else to add to this overflowing PETA RANT so I shall leave you with a GOOD NIGHT AND SLEEP TIGHT |

| | Johnny Cash... I walk the Line | ] | Hey don't blame me on the fact that you are now getting sick...which I should mention that I am still feeling under the weather. When I came home Friday I went straight to my room, stripped my clothes save my shirt and preceded to bed. Mom came and said, "Well baby do you feel that bad?" I responded with a very pitifull yes and mommy took care of me. She made chilli and gave me medicine and I went to bed at 8:30 and did not wake up until the next morning at 9:30. So I was very sick I actually went to bed at 6:30 but coughed coughed forever that I couldn't fall asleep. I am still feeling sick off and on. Not good. Especially in this weather.
Okay the hours changing as so freakin messed me up I was awake way earlier then I should have been. I mean it just isn't right and just where in the hell did that hour really go? Have you ever thought about that? I have and I just can't get around it. Where does it go? Does it just disappear into the mysterious black hole of nothing? I should stop before I give myself a headache.
I started packing today. And OMG do I have a lot of shit. Half the crap I own could be thrown away and I would never notice it's absence from my life.
I am so excited. You know we missed ghost hunters this week because of the 13 days of halloween marathon on scifi but they have redeemed themselves and there will be a special edition Monday night so along with all the movies I plan to watch I must fit that into my halloween special...Cause I must watch Practical Magic and one Harry Potter and Resident Evil and Batman and too bad SW doesn't come out until Tuesday. Damn George Lucas. I have seen an Aeon Flux commercial on TV. So I am naturally over excited today. Plus Jarhead comes out Friday to a theater near you. Oh the excitement. Jamie Foxx and Jake(I will not attempt to spell his last name and make a mockery out of it)!!!!!
Well I need to get dressed cause I have a million things to do and no time to waste. Toodles my poodles I love you all. |

| | fiona apple Extraordinary Machine | ] | Lots has been going on here lately. Like my house sold and we have a new house that we will be moving into next month. So many exciting things going on. I am ready for the move. Batman came out on DVD and it is so majorly awesome. I love that movie. I bought Fiona Apple's new album this week and this afternoon mom heard it and asked me who that was and she said that she thought she had heard her on tv or somewhere and then she asks me to make her a copy. Which to me is kind of strange. Cause she...isn't supposed to like my music. Is she? That is so weird. I can see like country...but Fiona Apple? So weird. If you haven't heard her new album you should definitely take a gander at it. It is similar to her first album with the exception that I don't forsee anything that would be commercially successful but the quality of the music is great it is very blues like and she has a suberb voice. |

| | none | ] | This weekend has been pretty great.
Friday night we went to see Serenity which was classic. The humor was so well done that it will effectively be one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and never tire of it. If you have not seen this movie you should because you're missing out on a great story.
Saturday. Well saturday was not quite so lesiurely as I would have liked. Kayla Carter had her 7th birthday at the skating rink in Wetumpka. I wish that I would have gone skating but I would have been the only adult out there on skates. I did however get to spend some time with my brothers. Which is always nice. Steve looks so happy and I can honeslty say that I don't think he was ever truly happy with his life and now things seem complete for him. Ray (and my father) were late to the birthday party. He, we were informed was at home watching the football game. Now, knowing me because I was born on the single most important day in the SEC football season (for those of you who don't know that would be the IRON BOWL), I can say that if they did this to me or if I was Kayla I would be pitching a fit the likes that you have never seen. I would be milking that for everything that it is worth. That or making their lives a complete hell. I had already got on to Dad Thursday when he mentioned the game and my exact words were, "You would rather watch the game then be with your grandchild on her birthday? Well, daddy let me assure you that if my papa didn't come to my birthday because of game I would have no qualms about telling him I hate you." Dad I actually think was utterly speechless. But again you have to realize I have not to my knowledge ever watched the Iron bowl in it entirety because I refuse to. I have great animosity towards that particular event. It was one I hope AL wins but I wish it was one a different day.
Break for Football news............ We beat FL!!!!! They are ranked like #5 and we beat them. I can't help but be so happy. It was a good game. One in which AL proved they are up to the challenge. Now we can start thinking...MMMMmmm maybe we can go all the way to a National championship. If you are an AL fan you know that we were anxiously awaitng this game because we were simply not expected to come on top. Think about it Fl never made a touchdown sure they had three points but never scored. Poor Prothro though he fracture his leg he'll be out for season which is a great loss but if the team keeps it together they can overcome it. Losing him is a terribly great loss one they will have to pull together from.
Back to Ray. It was so funny Kayla was sitting there opening up her presents and being so ruint and spoiled that I said well poor ray he has to live with her and actually you know she's just like me. Ray laughed and said that he had called Kayla, Heather this past week. He told her you remind me so much of my baby sister. I just said to him poor Ray has had to live with both of us. LOL. Poor Ray. But he also mentioned that I was not bossy and really I have never been bossy unless I knew what needed to get done and nobody was doing it. Also on Saturday I spied I sight I thought never to see and you have to know my dad to understand why. My father and Ray were shooting pool now Ray I can see cause he used to be in the league. But Dad?
Today I am planning on a bit of clothes shopping. Need clothes. |

| | none | ] | So anyway I have like one day left at Colonial and I cannnot wait.
I am so tired of hearing on the news that people are pointing fingers to blame on who's fault it is that New orleans and Gulf Port are in such a mess. People please stop. Since you have so much time to point fingers and say the state is to blame or the feds are to blame why don't you get off your fat ass and do something. Saying and doing are two different things and while you are so worried as to who you should blame there are people dying and there are people who need help and you aren't helping at all in fact you are attributing to their crisis. though I know these words are in vain I feel as though they need to be said. It pisses me off when people think they are so self righetous to say the president should have done this or the mayor should have done that. Yeah in hindsight you think of those things and true there are alot of issues that should be put in the spotlight. But as the saying goes everything has its time and place and this people is not it. And the only people who truly have the right to point any kind blame or anger are the victims. I am not a victim no like most of America I am a spectator. You should think about that.
Sorry I needed to rant. I spoke to a woman today who was living in New orleans and her husband is still there. She went up north before the strom hit with her small children. they have a costal property in Mobile that she was calling about. You should have heard the grief in this woman's voice nothing can describe the way I felt when we ended our short and brief conversation. I can only say that we have never spoken to each other before but I could tell that she was someone who was now wearing her heart on her sleeve.
I want to do something. all these people suffering. I was thinking about calling the Red Cross to become a volunteer. I really feel like I want to physically help.
Oh by the way there will be a concert at the Riverwalk ampitheater. Three of the memebers of ALABAMA will be out there performing. I don't remember if it will tomorrow or Thursday. I want to go. the only cost is a donation. |

| | blah | ] | The Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts Celebrates its 75th Anniversary with the exhibition Collecting the Impressionists: Masterpieces from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute Saturday, November 12, 2005 through Sunday, January 1, 2006
Portraits by Renior, landscapes by Monet, and a ballet scene by Degas, are just a few of the paintings included in the exhibition Collecting the Impressionists: Masterpieces from the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute that will grace the walls of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts from November 12, 2005 through January 1, 2006.
In conjunction with it’s 75th anniversary celebration, the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts will premiere this nation-wide touring exhibition, that features twelve major paintings by Renior, Monet, Degas, Pissarro, Manet, and Morisot. Among the highlights is Renior’s Girl Crocheting, the first of thirty-eight paintings by the artist acquired by Sterling Clark, which has not been seen outside of Williamstown, Mass., since 1946. The exhibition will also include Monet’s The Duck Pond and Spring in Giverny, which traveled only once before from the Clark.
“This exhibition features five of the most influential artists in the Impressionist movement,” said Mark Johnson, director of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. “We are excited to showcase these extraordinary paintings in Montgomery during such a wonderful time in the history of the Museum.”
As the oldest fine arts museum in Alabama and one of the South’s premier cultural attractions the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts is noted for its outstanding collection of 19th and 20th century American paintings and sculpture, which includes the Blount Collection of American Art; Old Master prints, Southern regional art, and decorative arts. With more than 165,000 visitors annually, the MMFA provides stimulating educational programs that accompany the many temporary exhibitions each year. |

Your Birthdate: November 19 |
Your birth on the 19th day of the month adds a tone of independence and extra energy to your life path.
But at the same time, it poses a number of obstacles to overcome before you are able to be as independent as you would like. The number 1 energy suggests more executive ability and leadership qualities than your path may have indicated.
A birthday on the 19th of any month gives greater will power and self-confidence, and very often a rather original approach. However, a somewhat self-centered approach to life that may be in conflict with some of the other influences in your life.
This 1 energy may diminish your ability and desire to handle details, preferring instead to paint with a broad brush.
You are sensitive, but your feeling stay somewhat repressed.
You have a compelling manner that can be dominating in many situations.
You do not tend to follow convention or take advice very well.
Consequently, you tend to learn through experience; sometimes hard experiences.
The 19/1 is a loner number and you may experience feelings of being alone even if you are married.
You may take on a tendency to be nervous and angry. |
